For the past few months, I’ve been learning how to be more mindful. What do I mean by mindfulness? The true definition is “The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something.” So, as you’re walking down a path lined with wildflowers and the sun is peeking through the trees, really be aware of what you see…what you hear…what you smell. And then try to stay in that “zone”. Try to stay mindful.
I’ve been listening to a podcast by James Wedmore called ‘The Mind Your Business Podcast.” He and his co-host Phoebe Mroczek go over a lot of strategies for maintaining a healthy mindset and, of course, being mindful is often discussed. If you’re interested in this topic, I highly recommend their show. It’s a good one.
To do my part, every Monday, I’ll be bringing to you fun facts and tips about mindfulness along with a beautiful image from my ETSY shop. I hope it helps serve as a reminder, especially on Mondays, to be present and to be grateful for that present moment.
